EDUROVs
MACARONESIA
The EDUROVs Macaronesia initiative is an activity included in the pilot project of Blue Economy within the framework of RIS3_NET
Construction and Operation of Remotely Operated Underwater Vehicles (ROV’S) Workshop for High School Education students of the Macaronesia.
- To promote the interest on science and technology using robotics and underwater research
- To encourage teamwork, respecting values and boosting creativity
- To build taking into account a technological need for marine use, respecting the environment and using materials of everyday use
- To train teachers on competences and contents
- To organise, develop and give the workshop for construction of ROV’S in Educational Centres of Madeira and to expand to the rest of the Macaronesia.
- To participate in the XVIII Annual Event (Gran Canaria 2020): Demonstration event where the Educational Centres that participate in the initiative operate their ROVS
